As we move into the fourth quarter, we’ve seen a decrease in inventory. In July, there were 1,383 homes for sale, and at the end of September, there were 1,146. There’s no need to worry, however. This is a normal trend for this time of year, and we still have a very healthy market.
We’ve also seen a $30,000 increase in sales price, going from $532,000 to $563,000. This is due to a combination of an influx in buyers and low inventory. Since there aren’t as many options available to buyers, they often have to make higher offers, which drives the price up.
With our low inventory, we are currently in a seller’s market. Almost every listing priced at market value gets multiple offers. This is a great time to sell. Buyers are very interested, inventory is low, and there’s less competition for your property. In this market, you can really make your home stand out.
